Overview

In this scenario, is a Marketing team working in a segment centric organization. As with many companies, communications are not as upfront as they need to be. To overcome this limitation, the team uses the steps in this video to see the bigger picture.

Steps

  1. Marketing begins by laying out the structure of their organization, in this case a segment centric marketing organization.

  2. The groups takes each segment and organizes them into smaller categories (Marketing Strategy broken down into Product, Price, etc.)

  3. To determine what needs to be assigned, they click on "Project Team". Unassigned items are then assigned to team members.

  4. Assigned tasks appears on individual's home pages. To see the project and, if necessary, further break down the tasks, the users go into the project.

In the Coras application, the tasks status aggregate upwards. As a result, the Marketing group can get real-time information on their progress with the tasks and the projects. The members of the team know who is responsible for each task and how close they are to achieving their goals.
